Pellet stoves are considered a carbon neutral heat source as they are fuelled by a variety of biofuels, including wood pellets which are usually a by-product of saw mills or industry. The tightly compressed pellets are densely compacted enabling them to produce an efficient, high output heat. Pellets are automatically fed from a storage hopper into the burn chamber and the temperature can be thermostatically controlled.
We can supply pellet stoves that are freestanding or inset, meaning they can be incorporated into a fireplace. Pellet or Biomass Boilers can reduce the cost of heating your home under the government’s Renewable Heat Incentive scheme. Click here to find out more about this scheme.
